Mmmm.... it was interesting. I didn't like their new *platform*. They gathered winners from the past and critiqued this year's nominees one-by-one... almost like American Idol, Dancing w/the Stars and the countless other stupid judging shows? Ugh. Annoying. I also felt like it was sooooo predictable. Anyone else feel the same way?


OH - I did predict Mickey Rourke would win for Best Actor, but he lost to Sean Penn. Sometimes I wonder if it's just a snub for talking smack about Penn a few months back.

I hated that thing; it was so lame! Everything else was pretty good, though. I liked hugh jackman as host--he really sang and danced his heart out and I liked his affable charm. It was also fun to watch it w/FB friends, sending out comments and replies--it was an impromptu virtual oscar party and it was great!
