I have no respect for Rihanna after hearing she got back with Chris Brown.
Today I received a small note card in the mail and couldn't figure out who the sender was. When I opened it, it read:
A fund has been established to support the recovery of Bryant Lee, a student at Jesse Bethel High school and a member of the basketball team. Lee was injured during a recent incident at Bethel High School.
Donations for Bryant can be made at any WestAmerica Bank (account #2102302128) or mailed to Donna Lee (mother) c/0 WestAmerica Bank; 2400 Hillborn Road; Fairfield, CA 94534.
Click here for more info on this story. It's so sad and yet intriguing. I hope the Tili brothers all rot in jail. Their parents must be so proud.
If you use Online Banking, just put Donna's address in and account # and you're good to go! $5, $10 or ANYTHING would be much appreciated! Karma baby...karma.
Mmmm.... it was interesting. I didn't like their new *platform*. They gathered winners from the past and critiqued this year's nominees one-by-one... almost like American Idol, Dancing w/the Stars and the countless other stupid judging shows? Ugh. Annoying. I also felt like it was sooooo predictable. Anyone else feel the same way?
I put this on my FB, but here it is on my blog.
Dude. I did nothing all day but watch TV. How lazy am I? Oh wait - I take that back. I rode my bike for less than an hour and went home and took a nap... in front of the TV.
This couldn't be real. She looks very sick.
Holy crap!!!! Last night I made the ULTIMATE FISH DISH EVAAAAAARRR!!!! You MUST try this as this is soooooo simple (esp if you are Asian, you already have all the ingredients!). I got my Mahi Mahi from Trader Joe's in the freezer section. It was a steal - less than $5.00 for both fillets to feed me and Boo!!! I want to make this again and again! I never publish recipes, but I think everyone will agree that it's AWESOME.
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
- 1 clove garlic, crushed or to taste
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 (6 ounce) mahi mahi fillets
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
- In a shallow glass dish, stir together the honey, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, ginger, garlic and olive oil. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper, and place them into the dish. If the fillets have skin on them, place them skin side down. Cover, and refrigerate for 20 minutes to marinate.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove fish from the dish, and reserve marinade. Fry fish for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, turning only once, until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove fillets to a serving platter and keep warm.
- Pour reserved marinade into the skillet, and heat over medium heat until the mixture reduces to a glaze consistently. Spoon glaze over fish, and serve immediately.
